Fluoropolymers revolution
For many years, together with pool owners we were looking for ultimate solution for the attractive and durable coating for swimming pools here in Australia. The reality was that there were not many choices out there. Australia has almost one million pools alone! Fibreglass, concrete, rendered with flash finishes, all of them had one common issue. All those pool finishes require not only continuous maintenance but also right conditions to perform. For years epoxy paints applied to those pools to hide deteriorating shells but they themselves would often show signs of fading and wearing off quickly depending on the type of the product, installation conditions and environment it is used.
Now the game is changing. Imagine that the pool looks the same after 10 years, colour of your shell is as bright and vibrant as you just applied it. Nice finish still there. Not only that, the coating protected the shell from aggressive chemical “soup” giving it much longer life.
Family and kids can swim in it without worry of scratching their knees and elbows. All you neighbours looking with envious eyes , they have flash renders showing dirt, algae and all sorts of stains, and yours still as new. Hard to believe? Well. It is true!
